Movieman Bill
This blog is about me and movies. Those I see. Those I write. Those others write. I share my own views on films out there. I share the scripts I've written. I share the ideas I have for various projects. Stay tuned.
Passing Judgement
Chris Coste is a 33 year old rookie plays for the Phillies. After years as a journeyman in various minor leagues, Coste is hitting like .350...and is attracting interest in Hollywood. Producers see this as an Invicible-type story. Stay tuned...Phils almost blew a 9 run lead to Washington Sunday. A pox on them if they lost that game. Here's hoping veteran Jamie Moyer will make us forget Scott Mathieson's poor performance...10 & Wolf opened in Atlantic City area Saturday night. Producer Suzanne DeLaurentiis resides part time in nearby Galloway Township. Movieman expects Suzanne to read a copy of Knit One.
Scripts for Sale
I've written six scripts. Number 5 is really good. A road trip comedy about a widower and his estranged daughter. I received two thumbs up from a producer and a screenwriter. But neither thumbs led to a sale. So I throw myself at the mercy of literary agents and producers everywhere. What do you say, folks? Give the kid a chance. I can see Clint Eastwood or James Garner in the father's role. Helen Hunt, Sandra Bullock or Julia Roberts as the daughter. Is that a cast or what?
